Lab 1: Create the Automation Project

After evaluating and approving a process for automation, create an automation project from the approved process proposal and assign it a category. You can either use a category that exists in your organization or you can create a new one.

Create the Automation Project

  1. Open RPA Manager

    • URL & Credentials provided by instructor

  2. In RPA Manager, click New→ Process or Evalution

  3. Click Process

  4. Provide the necessary information for the project:

    1. In Process name, write MuleSoft blog sign-up_<Your Initials> (ie: MuleSoft blog sign-up_RMA)

    2. In Category, select the _Web Automations_CVS category.

    3. Deselect Use Process Board.

  5. Click Save

Now that you’ve created an automation project, it’s time to move to the design phase, in which you create the BPMN diagram for the process.
