Automation Workshop

NTO is a specialty retailer of apparel and accessories with Mule as their flagship brand. They are going through digital transformation in enhancing and unifying their customer experience and have several initiatives planned around mobile, smart beacons, IoT and customer analytics.
However they’re still suffering with a number of Legacy Systems. Such applications remain critical to NTO in many departments and although they’re in the process of modernizing them, it is something that will take a few years.
In the meantime, though, integration with such Legacy Systems are still a must as part of NTO digital transformation.
NTO IT organization has been used MuleSoft Anypoint Platform to get some of those systems integrated. But there are some others that are technically much older and the usual integration approach is not valid.
The old Financial System, built on Java and using a proprietary data base system is one of those applications.
NTO has decided to use MuleSoft RPA product to get this system integrated based on mimicing what the users do on the Financial System application through its Windows based thick client, building an Automation Process with the MuleSoft RPA features.
